Best Card Ripping App: 16 Compared (Sign-Up Bonuses and Buyback Rates)

Last checked: November 4, 2026. Looking for the best card ripping app? Card ripping apps let you buy a digital pack, reveal a real graded card, then keep it in a vault, ship it, or sell it back. We compared 16 of them on what you get for signing up, how much they pay to buy a card back, and the fees and limits that decide what you actually keep. Sign-up bonuses are mostly a free pack worth a few dollars, buyback rates run from about 80% to 100% of a card’s market value, and the headline rate is often not what you net after fees.

We have referral codes for Rips by Triumph, Tilt Rips, Stadium Vault, MintPull, LETSGO and Phygitals, and may earn a reward if you use them. The other apps below are listed without codes, and we don’t publish anyone else’s codes. Opening packs is a game of chance, and you must be 18 or older.

Key findings

  • Sign-up bonuses are small and usually not cash. Most apps give a new user a free pack worth about $1 to $5, and some give nothing. The only app we found that pays referrers on an ongoing basis is Phygitals, which reportedly gives 1% of a friend’s buybacks in USDC. Tilt Rips’ own terms say promotional benefits have no cash value.
  • Reported buyback rates range from 80% to 100% of fair market value. Rips by Triumph, MintPull and Fast Rips are listed at 100%. Courtyard, Tilt Rips, Stadium Vault and Vaultr are at about 90%. Phygitals is at 85% to 90%, and Trove’s rate falls to 80% over time.
  • The rate you net can be lower. GameStop Power Packs pays 90% minus a 6% selling fee, about 84.6% net. A reviewer who tested four Courtyard sell-backs measured an average of 84.8% against its 90% claim.
  • Referral codes can have limits. Stadium Vault caps each referrer at 10 people and MintPull at 15. Most other apps don’t publish a cap, so a code that stops working may have hit one.
  • Cash-out options vary. PayPal and Venmo are common. Fanatics Instant Rips pays buybacks in credit, not cash, and some apps require a deposit to be played through once or an ID check before you can withdraw.
  • Trust signals are uneven. Rips by Triumph shows 4.7 stars from about 252,000 App Store ratings. Packz (1.7) and Arena Club (1.8) have low Trustpilot scores on fewer than 50 reviews each. Tilt Rips is about 3.0 on Trustpilot and has too few App Store ratings to show a score.

Buyback is what the app pays if you sell a pulled card back instead of shipping it, shown as the headline rate before fees. A dash in the Code column means we don’t have a code for that app.

Which is the best card ripping app?

There isn’t one best card ripping app for everyone, and we haven’t tested the payouts ourselves. On the numbers we could source, Rips by Triumph has the most App Store ratings (about 252,000 at 4.7 stars) and lists a 100% buyback rate, while Courtyard lists 90% with 4.6 stars from about 3,500 ratings. Apps with low Trustpilot scores on a small number of reviews, such as Packz and Arena Club, deserve extra caution. Whichever you pick, compare the rate you would net after fees, not the headline number.

How we compared these apps

We used each app’s own App Store listing, website, FAQ or terms where it states a number, and labeled everything else as coming from a third-party reviewer. Where sources disagreed, we say so instead of picking one. We didn’t buy packs or test cash-outs ourselves, and rates, fees and sign-up bonuses change often, so confirm the current terms in each app before you spend money.

What to check before you join a card ripping app

  1. Net buyback, not the headline rate. Subtract selling fees, withdrawal fees and any processing fee.
  2. The buyback window. Many apps auto-sell an unclaimed card after 24 hours to 7 days.
  3. How and when you can withdraw. Some require a deposit to be played through once, an ID check, or a minimum balance.
  4. Whether the sign-up bonus is cash. A promo pack can be paid out in credits that can’t be withdrawn.
  5. Where it operates. Availability depends on your state or country, and every app here is 18+.

Frequently asked questions

Do card ripping apps pay cash for referrals?

Almost never. In the apps we reviewed, a referral usually earns a free pack worth about $1 to $5. Phygitals is the one exception we found, reportedly paying referrers 1% of a friend’s buybacks in USDC.

What is a buyback rate?

It’s the percentage of a pulled card’s fair market value that the app pays if you sell it back instead of keeping or shipping it. Fees can reduce what you net.

Which card ripping app has the highest buyback rate?

Rips by Triumph, MintPull and Fast Rips are listed at 100% of fair market value. Advertised and net rates can differ, so compare what you would actually receive after fees.

Are card ripping apps available everywhere?

No. Rips by Triumph is reported as unavailable in Nevada, Tilt Rips excludes several countries, MintPull is limited to US users, and GameStop Power Packs is US only. Every app here requires you to be 18 or older.

Can you lose money on card ripping apps?

Yes. Pack contents are random, and a pulled card is often worth less than the pack price. One tester found about 70% of Packz pulls were valued below the pack price. Only spend what you can afford to lose.
